Adult Day Services at Breckenridge Village
Family members are afforded a break from care-giving responsibilities through the Breakaway Club Adult Day Center. A service of Senior Independence, participants in the club enjoy a fun and enriching time in a safe, supervised environment while their loved ones can rest assured they are receiving the best of care.
Our program is designed to serve individuals with early memory impairment, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, as well as those who have suffered strokes or have other physical or mental limitations.
Personal care and grooming; family counseling and support; health monitoring; and medication assistance are among the services we provide.
The Breakaway Club is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Nutritious lunches and snacks are served to participants.
Transportation is available to and from our adult day program for persons living in western Lake and eastern Cuyahoga counties.
Activities include arts and crafts, movies, pet therapy, intergenerational activities, exercise, cooking, baking and reminiscing about good times.
