 HOSPICE
At Senior Independence Hospice we
encourage people to make decisions about
how they want to live the remainder of
their lives and create memories for
those who remain behind. The focus of
hospice is on caring not curing. The
goal of hospice is to treat the whole
person. And each one deserves
individualized care that puts them and
their families in charge. The Senior
Independence Hospice team works together
to provide counseling, education and
support focusing on giving the patient
control in determining their physical,
psychological and spiritual needs. In
turn, the hospice and family team
develop a holistic care plan that
includes pain management, symptom
control and bereavement support.
