Village neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio.
We offer spacious apartments, assisted
living, special care for Alzheimer's and
other memory-related disorders, and
skilled nursing care.
We are a continuing care retirement
community with various housing options.
We also provide the Franklin County area
with home and community based services
such as home health care, adult day
services, transportation and home
delivered meals through our Senior
Independence Program.
Westminster-Thurber has several
distinctions. We are a certified
Eden Alternative Community.
The Eden Alternative is a philosophy
that promotes life enrichment.
Westminster-Thurber participates as a
Master Gardener site for the Ohio State
University Master Gardener extension
program. Students of the Master Gardener
program provide residents and staff with
educational opportunities and support in
caring for our many gardens.
We have experienced three
deficiency-free surveys in Nursing by
the Ohio Department of Health (2001,
2002, 2003). This indicates the high
standard of care we provide to those in
our skilled nursing center.
